Sabrina D. Thorps was born in Meridian, Mississippi and raised in a small place called Lisman, Alabama. She graduated from Choctaw County High School in Butler, Alabama. From there, she went on to graduate from Marine Corps Boot Camp in Paris Island, SC and became one of The Few, The Proud, The Marines.
Sabrina began her book writing journey around the age of 10, when she was in fifth grade. She wrote many stories and books, but never published them because it was never about money. She realized that she had been given a gift to write and she wanted to use that gift to reach people around the world.
